Want to keep your salad interesting. We have got to focus on eating healthier and take it to a whole new level.
California Spinach salad
1 large apple sliced
1/8 red onion sliced
6 cups spinach leaves
3 tbspns low fat ceaser salad dressing
2 tbspn chopped walnuts
throw it all together and enjoy!
Strawberry and Spinach Salad
8 cups spinach leaves
4 cups strawberries
1/2 cup almonds chopped
(balsamic vinegar dressing is best on this salad)
Romaine with Feta and Blueberries
1 large head of romaine lettuce chopped
2 cups fresh blueberries
1/4 cup feta crumbled over salad
(an apple cider based dressing is best for this)
Cole Slaw
1/2 medium red or green cabbage
1/2 medium red onion
1 red pepper
4 large carrots
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1tbspn canola oil
1tsp honey
(mix together add salt and pepper to taste)
Grape Tomato Salad
2 cups grape tomatoes halved
1tbspn + 1 tsp olive oil
1 clove of garlic minced
10 fresh basil leaves chopped
6 green olives diced
pinch of hot pepper flakes
(mix together and enjoy!)
My version of Shiraz salad a Persian must
approx 6 cucumbers skinned and diced
one jalopeno diced
approx 3 tomatoes diced cherry tomatoes are also great
one small onion diced
a few spriggs of cilantro chopped finely
juice from one lemon and 2 limes
salt and pepper to taste
(great eaten alone or served over things)
BIG ASS Salad
2 cups Spinach
1 cup chopped romaine lettuce
chopped green onion
cherry tomatoes
cucumber sliced
diced avocado
chopped radishs
chopped carrots
sprouts
wheatgrass cut
serve with italian dressing and top with a few sprinkle of parmesan cheese
